- Install a valid TLS certificate for the portal’s public DNS name.

Install and first run
Server requirements. Windows 7 Pro SP1, 8/8.1 Pro, 10 Pro, 11 Pro, or Windows Server 2008 SP2/2008 R2 SP1, 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025. Windows Home editions and Windows Server Essentials are not supported, and ARM processors are not supported. You need .NET Framework 4.7.2, and the built-in web server needs Java OpenJDK 17 or newer. TSplus recommends a static private IP address. As a guide, the official sizing starts at 4 GB of RAM (8 GB recommended) for 3–5 users and 8 GB (16 GB recommended) for 10 users.
Installation. Run Setup-TSplus.exe as administrator and reboot when asked. Two new icons appear on the desktop; AdminTool is the management console. Setup opens RDP (TCP 3389) in the Windows firewall, and the built-in web server listens on 80 and 443 by default.
Gotchas. IIS or another web server on ports 80/443 will clash with the built-in web server; move one of them. On Windows Server, check how TSplus fits with any existing Remote Desktop Services roles before installing. Keep the server patched: the changelog shows regular builds, and you should apply them.
Limitations
- Commercial only; there is no free edition for production use.
- The server must be Windows on x86/x64; Linux hosts are not supported.
- Load balancing, the gateway portal and some mobile features need the higher editions.
